“Okome Biyori” is a specialty restaurant offering rice balls (Onigiri) and Japanese set meals made with the finest Niigata-grown rice.

We use 100% Niigata rice sourced directly from contracted local farmers, and serve dishes that highlight the natural flavor of the ingredients.
In addition to onigiri, you can enjoy Japanese set meals, traditional sweets, and matcha for a relaxing taste of Japanese culture.

Carefully Selected Rice and Ingredients

We use only Niigata-grown rice delivered directly from our contracted farmers.
The pickled plums (umeboshi) used in our rice balls are also carefully selected and traditionally prepared to provide a refreshing sour taste.

Each grain of rice and ingredient reflects the care and dedication of its producer.

Over 20 Types of Onigiri Available at All Times

We offer more than 20 varieties of onigiri, from classic to creative options.

Popular menu items include:

• Ochazuke Set (rice with tea broth)
• Nokke Don Gozen (rice bowl topped with three selected ingredients)

In addition to onigiri set meals, we also offer dumpling sets, light meals, and Japanese-style desserts.

The Matcha Set is beginner-friendly and allows guests to prepare their own matcha in a semi-self-service style.
